Dr. Brown received a PhD degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, and mathematics from Purdue University – an optimal preparation for developing his mechanical unified theory of physics. He spent the first two decades of his career in industry doing mechanical design of aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft culminating with the design of an orbiting telescope satellite. He then spent two decades as a professor of mechanical engineering at Mississippi State University teaching mechanical design, mechanics, and thermodynamics. The last two decades were spent managing his chain of bookstores in Mississippi. Throughout the last half century he has spent approximately 20 hours per week developing the kinetic particle theory of physics.
